@@barbarapaparella1833 He was winning all of his fights until he wasn’t. The Rockhold fight, the Yoel fight, this one (which I think was his first fight after Yoel), then he got starched at 205, broke his leg against Uriah Hall and just lost to Tavares.

@@SONofBATMAN5984 The biggest lie told over and over again... He was losing against Rockhold, only one of the judges gave him the first round, it was 30-26, 30-26 and 29-27 when Luke stopped him. Against Romero, Weidman won the first round, lost the second one and was stopped in the third. Against Souza, Weidman won the first round, but was already getting pieced up during the second round, he was never winning against Mousasi either

It's so crazy how Weidman was winning against Jacare, Romero and Rockhold and then made 1 simple mistake and lost. There is no other sport like this. 1 simple mistake can cost you your whole career. In most other sports, you can make mistakes and come back, but not in fighting.

Can’t remember how the Romero fight went but his fight with Rockhold was fairly one sided, I think the most competitive round would have been the first but Rockhold comfortably took over after

Dan usually a pretty good ref but he goofed this one up. Thankfully Souza was a gent and didn't do much more than he had to.

According to the Yamasaki School of MMA refereeing, this was an early stoppage. The downed fighter was still breathing and somewhat moving, which clearly shows he was still in the fight to win.

O UFC sabia que o então campeão Bispim não era páreo para um Jacaré em plena forma, a derrota era mais do que certa. Objetivando o lucro, poupar e preservar como campeão o único representante europeu, os organizadores não casaram a luta e colocaram o Jacaré na geladeira. As suscessívas lesões ao longo dos anos acabaram por sepultar a carreira do excelente lutador Jacaré. Já decadente, as suas últimas lutas não espelham quem foi este dígno representante do MMA.

Não dá pra entender como o cara cai tanto de produção ao passar os anos, parece relaxo. Não tem como ser somente a idade, até pq são atletas, exemplo disso é o Jon jones. Invicto e não caiu. Pq demais é estilo neymar, passou dos 30 só farra e bebedeira.

Souza deserves all the respect for not wanting to inflict more damage to Weidman. Contrast this to the Weidman-Muñoz fight where Chris continued to pummel Mark. This proved he didn't have good self control, and might even enjoy punishing his opponents. I kind of low-key always rooted against Weidman because of that performance.
