id like to see this guy win, and he is violent af and i dont like Pantoja, but Pantoja wins. Ill explain why. Alot of these guys Asakura is beating are cans, he's went 1-1 with Manel Kape, (ufc talent for example) and in his last fight, 36/37 yr old Juan Archuleta was catching him ALOT. Another thing, he fights at 135, but will making his ufc debut at 125. Who knows how this may or may not affect him, but his power will be reduced for sure regardless. We also see that Kai really likes certain techniques like soccer kicks and stomps, which he will not have access too, and hopefully he wont accidentally get a foul because he seems very accustomed to using these techniques. And finally, as we've seen, like Kai himself, Pantoja is a very scrappy, well conditioned, active, perservering fighter as well who can also fight everywhere, and has pulled wins out in dogfights against several of the UFCs top flyweights. I think Kai has to KO Pantoja, which i see as being highly unlikely, especially at the new weight for him. Pantoja by decision.

Yeah definitely. Flyweights got the issue where Pantoja has won so many of the matchups there aren't any new ones for him so they're putting Asakura there. Asakura ain't even a flyweight though he was a bantamweight and typically walks around at about 150lbs (this is from his YT videos, in the interviews he said he was a natural bantam but that ain't true).
