On episode 3 of UFC 177 Embedded, fight week is underway as the stars converge on the host hotel in Sacramento to check in and check weight with UFC officials. Bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw meets his twin and feels the pressure of the iron thumb, as former titlist Renan Barao talks hairstyles with Site Coordinator Burt Watson. Co-main event lightweight Tony Ferguson gets his gear in order before heading to the park for an old school workout, and his opponent, local boy Danny Castillo, trains at his home gym with the object of his desire always in sight. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the days leading up to the UFC 177 bantamweight title rematch, Saturday, August 30th on Pay-Per-View.

AWESOME PREDICTION: ROCKY 5 1. TJ wins 2. TJ becomes even more cockier 3. TJ thinks he's on top of the world and can't be touched 4. TJ Starts acting like he runs Team Alpha Male 5. Urijah Faber stays humble 6. Urijah wins next bout 7. People start talking about fight between TJ and Faber 8. Tj gets cocky and says "I'm tired of living in Faber's shadow". 9. TJ runs off with his boyfriend Ludwig to Colorado and wants fight with Faber even though Faber was the one who brought him in and helped TJ become the fighter he is today. 10. Faber doesn't want the fight at first. 11. One day TJ shows up to Alpha Male and starts flexing and doing push-ups 12. Chad Mendes says "hey man why don't you just go back with Ludwig to Colorado, nobody wants you here anymore". 13. TJ stops his 989th push-up and head kicks Chad Mendes, dropping him to the mat. 14. Faber runs over and says "hey you knock him down, why don't you try knockin me down". 15. Ludwig says "fight him in the octagon tj" 16. Faber says "my octagon is outside". 17. Tj says "let's do it" 18. Faber (Rocky Balboa) vs. TJ (Tommy Gun) outside of Alpha Male's gym. 19. Faber beats the fuckin shit out of Dillashaw.

Barao is 70.1 kg. He has to drop 9 kg in 2 days. I'm not saying it's not possible, but for a bantamweight it is a huge cut. Plus we don't know what he was before he started his diet. If not done properly it's gonna be a hard weight cut. I'm a flyweight and I cut 6-7kg including the diet. Barao probably cuts 15kg altogether. I was looking forward for this fight...

Few good fights on this card but I don't think its got enough star power to do good numbers. Dillashaw vs Barao is an excellent match up only because it will be interesting to see what Barao changes after that beat down he got last time. Castillo vs Ferguson is a good fight but as a co main of a PPV it is very lackluster, clearly the UFC is just trying to get a big gate for this card by putting two Sacramento based fighters in the co main and main. #TeamDillashaw

You can complain about a card not being stacked beforehand, but I find it ridiculous to call it crap before it happens. It has happened, and there is always a chance that a couple of no-names go in there and put on a tremendous show.

In this video Renan weighs 70 KG which is 155 pounds roughly... meaning he had to cut 19 pounds in a day... meaning he probably gave up because he knew 1) he wouldnt make weight. which is doubtful considering he has never not made weight... what ithink is 2) hes scared to fight TJ

It's decent, but by no means PPV worthy and I would sure as hell not classify it as great. Outside of the main event, Bethe Correia is the only one on this card in the top 10 at their respective division (and she's ranked at #10). While there are some pretty good matchups overall, it's very weak for a PPV product.

henrysto agreed by itself its a good card which has promising fights. Its no way PPV worthy though because PPV are meant for top guys and big stars like Rockhold, Johnson, or Lawler. i mean the mousasi vs Souza has more star power than this and its for free. Sure i like to watch up in comers but only if its free or in prelims.

Knight Hawk wth how do u rank Rockhold/Johnson over Barao..... And TJ just beat one of the top pound for pound fighter in the world - which was former champ (Barao)... Plus these guys has been on a tear. Mousasi is boring as hell to watch... A good fight is a good fight Star power doesn't really mean anythings if you're a real MMA fan.

I saw 69.2kg on the scale for Barao. So that's about 152.5 pounds. Pretty close to TJ's 148

So right there Barao weighs in at what looks like 70.1kg which I just found out is 155 and it makes me wonder what happened-those dudes can drop 10lbs in a day. Guess he couldnt. Hope hes OK. On another note, Dana needs his fucking head examined to let some 15-2 dude on a 6 fight win streak take a crack at the belt-Shit better be a NON title fight. At the top of the list of fights where one guy has everything to lose and nothing to gain but a paycheck and the other guy cant lose if he loses and might just be on point and walk away with a belt.

Only the main event whats interesting, rest of the card is dog poo, carnt wait for the main event though, and next weeks fight night 50 is free and it hammers this ppv card. And I carnt wait till 178.
