These recent after-fight respect shown by fighters (kamaru-woodley, max-dustin, kelvin-adesanya etc.) are a welcomed breath of positivity for the sport. most “talking” done and left inside the octagon as it should be. No hate; just pure in-octagon badassery and outside cage respect. love it.

maoribrotha53 sure but positivity doest seem to get the same amount of attention compared to negativity. (The fans are partly to blame because people gravitate to it; its about supply and demand.) I think this particular video shows that fights and fighters can also be promoted through positive drama instead of negative ones. why? because the reaction to this fight, and this video, show that people gravitate towards positive drama too. I just support selling through positivity (but a touch of fun trash talk/minor drama wouldnt hurt of course ☺️). It should be a battle between people driven by love for the art, and competitive spirit- but not hate. The world has enough of that.

Ameen Kamal Yeah but positivity is boring. Like how many times have you seen two fighters shake hands and hug when the final bell rang? Can’t really make a big deal out of that because it happens basically every fight.

Dana facial expression changed when Izzy said “I don’t like those fights often”. It’s an awesome fight for Dana and the company but obviously as a fighter you don’t want to take that much damage and also having those kind of fights decreases the chances of a win because anything can happen. In a perfect fight you want to be dominant in all rounds taking less punishment
