@@DopeOnRope who exaclty was the gust of wind that knocked out Rockhold. I know everybody likes to mock Rockhold and i get why. But dude only got knocked out to bombs. A perfect left from Bisping, which bisping planned all through the preparation for the fight ,bombs from Romero, and the freaking polish power from Jan. Luke has almost non existent defense and a fading fight iq, but not a glass jaw.

I agree Yoel didn’t pressure him as much as he should’ve Yoel tagged him once and Izzy stayed on the outside for the rest of the fight both wanting to counter made a boring fight . Costa didn’t pressure either got his leg beat up then Izzy used his sharp kick boxing to finish him IMO if Ian don’t pressure to land that polish power he will get tagged up and lose by Ko or decision. Oh but It is the first time he fights a guy with only 5cm less of reach and can knock him out with only one punch, Anderson Silva punched Izzy while in the end of his carreer, now imagine Blachowicz doing that with his iron hands; also Blachowicz has three murder attempts after crushing Rockhold's jaw and Corey's face, and he devastated Reyes' ribs and nose, he destroyed the best striker of the HW division.

he is not thinking that way. you don't want to change someones nature. you want to exploit the opponents weaknesses using your natural strengths. when you listen to Jan in his native language, you realize how intelligent he approaches fights. he is a cerebral tactical fighter. Adesanya is more of an instinctive/reflex fighter.

All the fighters Adesanya has fought Jan would likely have beaten them as well if those fighters attempted to move up to his weight class. Jan has fought bigger and stronger fighters than anyone that Adesanya has fought so far. The other thing is, Adesanya has trouble against fighters with a height and reach similar to his own (Anderson Silva, Alex Pereira etc...). And Jan will certainly be among those fighters that will closely match Adesanya in height and reach, but will also have a ~10kg weight advantage. I would not bet on this fight.

Nope adesanya's biggest weakness is that he is a counter striker and head hunter, which means if you strike him, he will punish you. I would advice jan to focus on leg kicks to the body.

If he comes in with that style, he's gonna get picked apart from the outside. He either has to become a pressure striker like Covington or Holloway, or a wrestler. Of course he can just touch Izzy and he'll go to sleep, but many fighters have tried to touch Izzy and many have failed.
