I remember exactly how I felt when Condit landed that headkick! My heart almost shot through my chest and my stomach just dropped. I loved Condit, but GSP is my all time favorite.

I genuinely feel for the younger generation that missed the GSP era. The skill, the well roundedness, the raw athleticism and unbelievable fight IQ. The classy way he went about everything. Never cheated. Overcame adversity and evolved. And maybe most importantly the constant bombardment of lions and dangerous top talent from a stacked welterweight division that was thrown at him. The stars just aligned, right person at the right time. It’s just different now. He is the GOAT.
