Robbie Lawler's resurgence and eventual title win is one of my favorite comeback stories in MMA. He left the UFC and fought for smaller organizations before coming back to the UFC. Rory MacDonald was seen as the future and GSP's protege who would carry the torch

You can't categorize Mousasi and Rory together. They are totally different. Mousasi has a lot more accolades in MMA as opposed to what Rory achieved. I respect the hell out of Rory and always liked him, but I really don't think you can categorize him as a legend in the sport.

Mousasi even has a win over Mark Hunt, who is two weight classes heavier than him. Also... Rory didn't have any kind of win streak in the elite of the sport as Mousasi did. Saying that Mousasi and Rory achieved the same is ridiculous lol.

I can clearly remember Firas Zahabi corner advice after round 3. "You're figuring him out, I want you to circle, breathe and finish him." Rory went for the finish, blew his whole gas tank at the start of the round 4 and after that it was a matter of time before Robbie hunts him down. Nobody ever talks about that corner mistake... 😁

I feel like an incentive for fighters on top of the normal bonuses could be to give them a portion of the money generated from official ufc KZbin clips. Even if it's small, it would give people incentive to literally have a highlight reel finish.

phenomenal performance by both men. It takes so much resolve to fight when you're inhaling your own blood for almost 25 minutes. I remember sparring with a bloody nose. It felt like an eternity. Nevermind It was nowhere to level of what Rory had to deal with.
