DC deserves more credit than he gets. So what if he wrestles and doesn't like to stand. He needs to win anyway he can and play to his strengths. Not every fight is a highlight reel and fans need to realize that no one wants to stand with Rumble and DC isn't going to stand there and just let himself get knocked out for your entertainment.

exactly,he's kinda like the oldschool guys more one dimensional. he has some nice dirty boxing though

james harper > Don't think anybody has discredited DC. just that he has been a boring fighter lately. his fight against Silva didn't help his reputation one bit. I agree that you have to play to your strength. It's like asking Conor to start grappling with Khabib instead of striking. Rumble is the most dangerous KO artist in the division & probably in the top 5 of the entire mma. Of course DC should get him to the ground ASAP. Else it'll be a KO
@wopp07028 жыл бұрын
james harper I agreed
@Jordansparte8 жыл бұрын
Hyro Proto That Silva fight was boring, I'll give you that. But he took the fight on a days notice and had to do anything to grind out a win against an opponent he hadn't prepared for. It was actually a ballsy move and one Jones would have never made.

Khabib - Strong wrestler with a tiramisu weakness but huge fanbase. DC - Strong wrestler who never missed weight and people boo him. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
@steeltitan79368 жыл бұрын
People Boo DC because he has an (arguably) boring fight style. It's effective tho so I got respect for him. I think people would boo khabib more if he ever actually made it to his fights more often.

Melvin Tan I love DC, but the difference between him and Khabib is that Khabib mauls people on the ground, where DC doesn't quite do that.

hey seriously, 6 years ago when Jon Jones is at the top of the world, DC looks like a bum compared to him. but as of today in 2017, the more i see how DC can overcome fighters that are way taller than him, the more i appreciate his game and technique. you guys surely know how having a short reach is a big disadvantage in the fight game. yet DC knows how to minimise that problem. gotta show him some respect man
@JonnnnyHood138 жыл бұрын
Eddy Wang DC knows how to get inside and grind. It's not who has a better reach, it's who can use it better. Jones is fantastic at using kicks and jabs to keep his opponent far away but also has the ability to grind on the ground with anyone. DCs downfall is that he isn't as well rounded as Jon
@RFABProductions8 жыл бұрын
Eddy Wang "I BELIEVE THAT WHEN WE GET INTO THAT CAGE JON JONES IS GOING TO BE COMING FOR MY TITLE. I'M GOING TO START PULLING AT THAT MAN FOR THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS, AND HE'LL HOLD ON. BUT RIGHT AROUND THE 3RD ROUND, 4TH ROUND, JON WILL OPEN UP HIS HANDS AND LET HIS GRIP GO AND SAY HERE TAKE YOUR TITLE BACK, THIS IS TOO HARD I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT! I WILL PUSH JON JONES TO A PLACE HE'S NEVER BEEN BEFORE. I WILL MAKE HIM QUIT! SUNDAY MORNING JOE ROGAN WILL WAKE UP AND SAY DAMN DANIEL HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS LOOK SO EASY? #ANDSTILL WHEN YOU'RE THE GREATEST LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IN THE WORLD THEY HAVE ONE NAME FOR YOU THEY CALL YOU: DANIEL "GOAT" CORMIER #ANDSTILL

This is a great series, I would also like to see this kind of breakdown from some of the top coaches giving us their thoughts on what kind of game plan they would put forward if they were coaching these fighters. Or give us insight how to build a strategy to defeat one style of fighter versus another. This would be very valuable to fans trying to understand the fight game on a deeper level.

AJ has a thimble sized gas tank. If he doesn't knock Cormier out he can't win. Cormier has one helluva a chin though. How he survived that dead on AJ bomb and that nasty knee of Gustafsson was insane.

dan really likes dc i mean most of this episode was about dc but i would have liked to know what anthony has been doing to get better and beat dc. this fight will either be a 1 round ko by rumble or a 4 round war and then i think dc will submit rumble it will be harder this time for sure

DC is going to do the same thing in the first fight. I remember when DC said he was going to stand and trade with Rumble, but he's not. DC knows what he's in for. I think Rumble needs to fight DC like he did Phil Davis

Rumble should train every camp like he's fighting himself. Given equal KO power, it's down to cardio. He'd never lose. It's a healthy way to utilise his ego rather than be beaten by it.
